All data received (traffic, Nexrad weather and standard reports like METAR, TAF, PIREP, WINDS, ...) will be made available automatically, once Avare has been detected.
(Make sure to enable "Use ADSB Weather" in Avare.) Start the app and allow access to the dongle.

"Pro version generally works great but a big annoyance; if no packets, app stops listening after 10 cycles of 19 seconds - or 190 seconds. There is an option to restart the app after every 30 seconds of non-reception but the restart cycle starts after only 19 seconds and reception is not active again until 11 more seconds. That means one third of the time the app is not listening for packets so also not usable. Please add an option to let it run for hours even if no packets!"

"Tried using it on a device running android 10 Go. App won’t let me start without the “display over other apps” function enabled. 10 Go does not have the “display over other apps” feature, google removed it from 10 Go, or at least disabled it at the root level. Are there any workarounds to bypass the display over other apps requirement that do not require root permissions?"

"I started by monitoring for both frequencies. Each time the frequency changed, the map dropped out. I suggest using one or the other. Most of the activity in my area seems to be on 1090MHz and lots of frames have been detected. I am still waiting for my first plane, but I find this is par for the course with dump1090 so I am not too concerned You need to know there is a little icon on the map which centres on your current location."

"Purchased the pro version and then ordered a receiver from the choices listed in the Help section link. I expected to need to install drivers and muck around with configuration. The app takes care of that. Plugged the receiver into my Pixel 3 phone and the app started logging and displaying real time aircraft tracks on a map. Simple interface to switch between map display and spreadsheet of logged data. Great app. Simple to use and it works.Developer was responsive and helpful to questions."
